Independence: American 1775

Independence is typical of the many small, armed schooners first put into service by the Continental Congress in the American war of independence.  Built in the United States in 1775 this ship and her crew fought bravely during the Revolutionary War.

The kit includes laser cut frames, keel and bulkheads, and exotic wood strips for hull planking. The parts are made of African Walnut, Ramin, Sapele, and Boxwood planking, cast metal anchor, anchor chain, windlass, decorative trim including lanterns and stern ornamentation along with six miniature brass cannon, eight carronades also four diameters of thread for rigging, a full set of hand-sewn cotton sails, beautiful detailed railings, Brass nails, strips, eyebolts, belaying pins, cloth flags, with a very detailed instruction booklet in 4 languages that will allow you to successfully construct this very beautiful historical boat.
